Bernis Sütçübaşı received her undergraduate degree from Ege University, Department of Psychology in 2009. She graduated from Istanbul University, Aziz Sancar Experimental Medicine Research Institute, Neuroscience Master's Program in 2013, and the Advanced Neurological Sciences Doctorate Program of the same university in 2020. In 2015, she took part in the "Train Your Brain, Renew Yourself" project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency as a psychologist and took part in the development and implementation of REHA-BIL, a computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program. She worked as the editor of the Journal of Neurobehavioral Sciences scientific refereed journal. She gives lectures and conducts research at various universities. Since July 2020, she has been a member of the faculty of the Department of Psychology of Istinye University Faculty of Art and Science as an assistant professor.
