Leyla Işık received her Ph.D from Sabancı University in 2015. After her Ph.D she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in a Tübitak project. Between 2016 and 2017 she worked as a researcher in Salzburg University financed by Austrian FWF project. She has been also visiting researcher in the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) for some months. Until now she has been teaching many mathematics courses in different universities.
