
Leyla Işık obtained a bachelor in mathematics from Dokuz Eylül University and her master from Sabancı University. Dr. Işık received her Ph.D from Sabancı University in 2015. During the next years she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Sabancı University (TUBITAK project), at Salzburg University (FWF project) and the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) in Linz. The research expertise of Dr. Işık lies in the areas of Finite Fields, Cryptography, Coding Theory, and Combinatorics. Her current collaboration focus with Koç Lab is quantum computation and quantum algorithms. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in Mathematics Department at İstinye University, Istanbul.
